A B O U T

It all started with a bowl... a beautiful gift from my parents following a weekend spent exploring St Ives's galleries. This bowl sparked my love of ceramics, and to this day is one of my most treasured possessions.

Fast-forward 12 years and multiple pottery classes later and here I am, finally ready to take the plunge and launch my own limited collection of tableware and lighting!

There is a common thread that runs through my designs: simple forms and block print designs. Over the years of trialling and testing various patterns, I have always come back to this combination. It also seems to be echoed in souvenirs that I've collected on my travels (an appliqué embroidered quilt from India, mudcloth fabric from West Africa, and my personal fave - a Sri Lankan "air-conditioning" window frame carved from wood....) so I've come to realise that this is my 'brand'!

All of my work has a rustic, hand-painted quality to it and is made in small batches, through hand-building methods rather than throwing, which in turn lends itself to each piece feeling individual.

I love nothing more than hosting a big lunch for family and friends with good conversation, a table full of delicious food presented in fun, colourful ceramics. I hope these pieces bring as much joy to your homes as I get from creating them!
